I will never draw paint again. NEVER. °^°
Chibi w/pedestal commission for Zethya - her persona!
I thought I would finish this yesterday, but it seems I'm not able to do nothing on Saturdays. =3=
I didn't intend to do it this wide, but I kinda lost control during the fundamental stage of sketch. Since the thing was becoming a graphite hell (and the mechanical pencil stuck repetitively), I ended up doing each element on a different sheet, putting all togheter after scanned everything. I miscalculated the composition a little. °3°
...the paint, Holy Sheep, THE PAINT!
I never wondered myself so much "What the Hell I'm doing?" and, especially, "Why the Hell I'm doing it?!". The answer to the second question is quite easy, actually: the idea popped in my mind almost painlessly, and I was too lazy to thing of something else (I also liked the idea too much to just give up on it). I realized the drama when came the time to draw the paint. I had NO CLUE where to begin. Also, there aren't tutorials for this (at least, I didn't found them... and how do you search for them? What words do you use? "Paint tutorial"? You find everything but what you're searching!). So, I patiently began to collect images of paint splash from Google, looked, stared, fixed at them, trying to emulate the effect of paint thrown in air, the movements of the drops detached from the main flux, the way it shines... and my brain melted. Luckily, the last part was quite fun, but, the same, NEVER AGAIN (I say this, but if it will came the time, I will draw it again). I'm quite proud of myself for not having give up, despide I was about to do it many times. ;v;
